Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you for choosing GenoGenRx. Find answers about our compounding pharmacy, services, quality standards, and ordering process below.
A compounding pharmacy specializes in creating customized medications tailored to the unique needs of individual patients. Unlike mass-produced medications, compounded prescriptions are prepared by licensed pharmacists who combine, mix, or alter ingredients to create a medication in the exact strength, dosage form, or formulation prescribed by your healthcare provider.
A 503A compounding pharmacy, as defined under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, prepares compounded medications based on individual patient prescriptions from licensed healthcare providers. GenoGenRx operates as a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy in the state of Florida, meaning every medication we prepare is made for a specific patient based on a valid prescription.
GenoGenRx specializes in a wide range of compounded medications, including peptide therapies, nasal sprays, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), topical creams, oral capsules, and other customized dosage forms. Our formulations are designed to meet the specific clinical needs identified by your prescriber.
While a traditional retail pharmacy dispenses commercially manufactured medications, GenoGenRx creates personalized medications that may not be available in standard commercial forms. This allows us to offer unique dosage strengths, alternative delivery methods (such as topical or nasal), and combinations that are tailored to your individual treatment plan.
Yes. As a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy, GenoGenRx requires a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider for every compounded medication. We do not dispense medications without a prescription, and we do not prescribe medications ourselves.
Your healthcare provider can submit prescriptions to GenoGenRx via our LifeFile Provider Portal, electronic prescribing (e-prescribe), fax, or phone. Please have your provider contact us at 561-760-1060 for details on submitting prescriptions.
In many cases, compounded prescriptions can be transferred to GenoGenRx. Please contact the pharmacy of your choice, have them contact our pharmacy team at 561-760-1060, and we will work with you and your previous pharmacy to facilitate the transfer, subject to applicable state and federal regulations.
Most compounded prescriptions are prepared within 3–5 business days, depending on the complexity of the formulation and ingredient availability. We will notify you if any delays are expected and keep you informed throughout the process.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
USP <795> sets the standards for non-sterile compounding, covering areas such as ingredient selection, compounding procedures, quality controls, and beyond-use dating to ensure that non-sterile preparations are safe and effective.
USP <797> establishes standards for the compounding of sterile preparations, including environmental controls, personnel training, aseptic technique verification, and sterility testing to prevent contamination and protect patient safety.
USP <800> provides standards for the safe handling of hazardous drugs, addressing procedures for receiving, storing, compounding, dispensing, and disposing of hazardous drug products to protect healthcare workers, patients, and the environment.
GenoGenRx adheres to all three USP chapters to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and compliance across every aspect of our compounding operations.
LegitScript is an independent verification and monitoring service that certifies pharmacies, healthcare providers, and other businesses for legitimacy and regulatory compliance. LegitScript certification demonstrates that a pharmacy has been thoroughly vetted and meets rigorous standards for legality, safety, and transparency.
GenoGenRx is currently in the process of obtaining LegitScript certification. We have voluntarily pursued this certification as part of our commitment to transparency, patient safety, and operating to the highest industry standards. We welcome the independent verification that LegitScript provides.
You can verify GenoGenRx's legitimacy through several channels: our Florida Board of Pharmacy license, our listing with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) for applicable substances, our PCAB accreditation status, and our LegitScript certification (in progress). You are also welcome to contact the Florida Board of Pharmacy directly to confirm our licensure and good standing.
Compounding pharmacies like GenoGenRx play a vital role in healthcare by providing customized medications that are not commercially available.
